October in pictures

I love the colours that dominate this month, the sheer amount of orange which seems to be everywhere at the moment is compensating for the diminishing light and warmth outside.  The car picture was taken at the RAC club, I don't believe it's the car in the Bond movie but a replica. Speaking of which, if you are thinking of going to see Skyfall, do. It will leave you shaken and stirred, even Mr Bond showed emotion.  The only time when I have been in a cinema and the film has had a round of applause at the end.

  1. There are some lovely colours at the moment in both gardens and tree lined streets as well as out in the countryside. Sounds like an exciting film, the only film I've ever seen when the audience applauded at the end was 'Ghandi'.

  2. Agree with Rosie, there are some lovely colours about at the moment, but also, due to the fog and damp we had last week, a lot of decay. I have posted some autumnal pics on my Norfolk blog. If anyone is interested!

  3. The autumn hues have been stunning this year, and one is never too old to go kicking through the piles of leaves! I aim to go and see Skyfall, my husband is very keen so we will make it a date.

  4. I went to a wedding years ago at the RAC club and remember the car in the entrance. There is a tree in out neighbour's garden that is just splendid, I can't think of the right word to use to describe its colour so shall leave it at that.

    1. I was struck by how few women there were at the RAC club, but there was a portrait of her majesty on the wall, ruling over all :)
