I took this photo back in March. John Lewis were stocking up their shelves with Diamond Jubilee souvenirs. It's taken on another relevance with our continuous April showers.
Very appropriate. It seems to have rained most days since we were told we were officially in drought here in East Anglia. And if i hear the phrase, 'it's the wettest drought on record' one more time I shall have a hissy fit and do a Violet Elizabeth Bott 'scweam'... New blog on books open now by the way! http://abookloversplace.blogspot.co.uk
I heard it is the wrong type of rain, at the wrong time of year, in the wrong places. There's simply no pleasing some people. Thank you for book link Maggie, I will change the link I have for you
How funny! This time last year we had that beautiful warm weather! Hope you too have a great weekend:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Rosie, let's hope the sun reappears sometime before September!
DeleteHa ha, well spotted. I want the rain to stop now.
ReplyDeleteMe too, let's hope we get a dry day soon, or we will all end up like Jack Nicholson in he Shining - with cabin fever!
