Small Changes

It's amazing what a bunch of daffodils and a bowl of fruit can do to a kitchen.  These colours are so zingy, they have given me a lift each morning when I come downstairs.  Happy Monday.

  1. I so agree... I have tulips having the same effect on me, and can't wait for all the daffs, narcissi, tulips and so on to appear in the garden.
    Have a good week.

  4. Lovely, the yellow and blue. Would make a lovely sunny watercolour painting.

  5. Thank you Maggie, hope your week stays colourful.

Rosie, need the daffs to keep going through the last grey days of Feb.

The bowl is a super bowl JHD - last week it contained hyacinths, this week fruit.

Hello Lucy, agreed, the colours just jump out at you, do you paint as well as take fabulous photos?

  6. Nothing like daffs to cheer you up is there? I do like tulips, too, but they are hopeless in vases - drooping and petals dropping off - daffs are so much nicer.

  7. I think Tulips are natural loners, displaying their dislike of crowds by dropping out... Daffs must be extroverts.
